We have been invited to be in 2 parades this year the first is on Nov.21 in Chillicothe line up is at 2 pm the 2nd is the Pekin parade on Nov. 29 with lineup at 2:30 pm. Watch for future posting as to time and place for us to meet.

We are having a cruise at the Glad Tidings Church 2201 E. Washington  E. Peoria. 3-7 on Sat. Oct. 24. Silent auction - bake sale - food - and raffle proceeds for the Beacon Teen Center.

We have all been invited by John & Liz for a cruise at Sears in Pekin on Fri. Oct. 16th from 6-9. they will have a DJ and a 50/50 for charity. Lets hope for a good turn out to show our appeciation for their hard work in getting everyones car in their magazine.

The 2nd annual Duryea Days SuperCruise is set for this Saturday, 10/10/09, from 5 -10pm. This year the cruise will be held at Heritage Square instead of Tower Park due to a scheduling conflict. There’s still plenty of parking with lots of food available to go along with a beer tent. Music will be by Scott Ireland and a 50-50 will be taken up during the cruise. There will also be a “Kiss a Pig” contest with our own Terry Jackson entered into the event. Go Terry! I’m not quite sure who would be the winner or the loser in this close contest, the pig or Terry! Hope to see you there!

The cruises this weekend take us to Chillicothe for the Hogfest SuperCruise from 5 to 9pm at Cutright Park on the river. The Hogfest will have lots of food, music and a burnout contest. The other cruise is the Arthritis SuperCruise in downtown Peoria from 4 to 9:30pm. Good music to go along with a huge 50-50 is on the agenda for this Peoria cruise.
